Short bio: Took part in creation or makeover of three largest news portals in Latvia (Delfi, TVNET, Apollo), created largest Latvian terminology database (AkadTerm).

Professional Experience
2007 – 2008 Creation and support of terminology portal and AkadTerm terminology database in Latvian Academy of Sciences.
2005 – 2006 Participation in Eurotermbank — European terminology project.
2004 Founder and CEO of the software and new media company TehnoMedia.
2004 Development manager of the Apollo portal.
2003 Editor-in-chief of the Apollo portal.
2002 – 2005 Programmer and manager of the computer terminology database www.termini.lv. This web site features convenient interface and intuitive user-friendly search of the terms in Latvian, English and Russian.
2002 – 2005 Translator and editor of Latvian interface for the world’s best search engine Google.
2000 Editor-in-chief and Senior Content Producer of the TVNET Internet portal. TVNET is the TV and local news, entertainment and discussions portal operating in Latvia. Agreements with the leading TV companies in Latvia allow publishing of streaming video news. Gained experience in streaming video.
1999 Editor-in-chief of the Internet portal DELFI. Member of the developers’ team and content producer in Latvia. DELFI is the biggest Pan-Baltic news and entertainment portal, operating in Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania (international team working language — English). Gained experience in content producing in online environment.
1999 Developer and Editor-in-chief of Latvia’s first news portal Navigators, later acquired by DELFI. Gained experience in cooperation with news agencies and other real time information providers.
1999 Science and Technology Editor of the daily newspaper Jauna Avize.
1998 Deputy Marketing Manager in Latvian ISP company Parks VR.

1991–1992 Co-founder and Vice-President of the McĀbols — well known Latvia graphic design company.
